Photography and Anatomy

Dear Reader,
Here I am typing away again.
Today was out first pre-production outing. It consisted of the companys core group, only four of us at the moment, sorting out the structure of a certian scene. It went well and afterwards we went on a little walk to some other locations which will be used in the film.









To get your interest even more inflamed I am going to include, in this blog entry, the scene names for the scenes in the film. These will almost definitely be the final scene names but you never do know what is going to happen in the future.

Advance down the path of Pre-production

Dear Reader,
It is my pleasure to inform you that the brand new Masquerade Film Company now has a draft logo. It was drawn by the director, Rosaline, who will also be drawing and creating the posters and trailers.
So. May I present to you the draft Masquearde Film Logo:





It is, if I may say so, extremely good. But I have been told that there are going to be several different versions which we will look at and pick the best one.

Now I move on to the next, and probably more important, piece of news that I have for you today.
Earlier on today myself and Rosaline were bouncing ideas back and forth concerning the title of the film. This has been a bane of ours since the script was completed. Every idea we had just did not click.
But at around 9:00 this morning our bouncing of ideas came up with something which did click.
For a couple of days now we had been pondering with the name Human. Although we knew there was something missing.
That thing we found and I am extremely glad to tell you now that the name of the first film of our brand new film company is......






Human?






It may not be a significant addition to our original idea of a title, but that little question mark sums up the story and is the perfect thing for out title.

That concludes my entery for today. The next update will almost certainly be on Monday 19th June. It will include photos from our first small rehearsal of a scene in the film.

Intrigue

Welcome, dear reader, to the first of, hopefully, many posts concerning the progression of the first film being made by the Masquerade Film Company.

At this point I feel that I need to divulge into what exactly the company is.
It has been founded by myself, the director and the producer of the film.
Together we created the yet as unknown film company which is in the pre-production stages of its first short film at this very moment.

This is where you may read updates on the film and see on-set photos, posters and hopefully the trailer. Of course us being a small company as yet the film will not be released for the public when it is completed. It will purely be for the creators private viewing. That is until we can find a backer who would be willing to help us reveal it to the nation and maybe even the world.
Afterall films are made to be watched, not just by a small group, but by as many people as possible.

For now I leave you all with that build up of curiosity that comes from reading the latter, hopefully, intriguing information.
